Bruins shockingly scratch top player ahead of Saturday nights game

The Boston Bruins have scratched one of their key players ahead of their Saturday night matchup against the Kings.

The Bruins made the decision to discipline Left-Winger Jake DeBrusk on Saturday night, after being absent for a team meeting.

"Per Coach Montgomery, Jake DeBrusk was late to a team meeting and will not play tonight in Los Angeles." The Bruins announced on Saturday morning.

DeBrusk has failed to register a point in all three contests early in this season. However, last season he scored 27 goals and had 50 points through 64 games with the Bruins.
