The Colorado Avalanche announced today that the team will be without their captain Gabriel Landeskog indefinitely due to a knee injury.
This will be a big loss for the reigning Stanley Cup champions as the 2022-23 season gets underway.
Reports say that he will be out for the beginning of the season, however, there is no current timeline for his return to the Avalanche lineup.

The 29-year-old had 22 points in 20 playoff games for Colorado last year, as well as 59 points in 51 games in the regular season.
In 738 career games, he has so far put up 248 goals and 571 total points.
Landeskog is a key piece to this Colorado lineup and they will be hurting offensively until he returns.
