Unless you've been living under a rock since last year, you've probably heard that the Arizona Coyotes will be playing out of Mullett Arena, home of the Arizona State University Sun Devils, for the foreseeable future.
The newly built, multi-purpose college arena seats about 5,000 fans. This will be the Coyotes home for the next several years while the new arena in Tempe gets built.
While home and road fans alike are happy about being able to see their favorite NHL club play in such a great atmosphere, according to reports, the players are not so happy.
Nick Kypreos reported this morning on Sportsnet 590 that the Arizona Coyotes players are very unhappy in their new building.
It's understandable for the players to be disappointed. This is the highest level of pro hockey in the world, why would players want to play in a college arena?
