Watch: Canucks score one of the strangest goals of all time against Vegas tonight

We don't see goals like this every day.

The Vancouver Canucks scored a fluke off the face-off to tie the game 2-2 halfway through the third period.

With the Canucks powerplay about to expire, the Golden Knights shot the puck out of play to give the Canucks a brief 2 second 5-on-3 advantage.

The Canucks appear to have lost the face-off, with William Karlsson sweeping the puck back toward his net to score the strangest own goal we've seen this season. (Watch down below)

The puck was then tipped by Alec Martinez (23) past his goaltender Robin Lehner into the net.

Despite the Vancouver Canucks eventually losing this game 3-2 in overtime, it was definitely exciting to see luck go in favor of the Canucks just this once.
