Watch: Winnipeg Jets pay touching tribute to the Humboldt Broncos on four-year anniversary



Yesterday, April 6th, marked four years since the shocking Humboldt Broncos bus accident which took the lives of 16 young hockey players, and injured 13 others.


The Winnipeg Jets honored the victims and their families at the start of last nights game against the Detroit Red Wings, you can watch it down below.




The 29 candles represent the 29 victims whose lives changed forever that day. It was a terrible tragedy which brought the entire hockey world together.



Here is the site of their memorial in Humboldt, Saskatchewan where the lives that were lost are honored and remembered.


Many other NHL teams took to twitter to share their support on the grim anniversary.
