WATCH: Flames & Oilers players react to NHL Heritage Classic Jersey Designs




The Edmonton Oilers will be hosting the Calgary Flames for the 2023 Tim Horton's heritage winter Classic, taking place on October 29 at CommonWealth stadium in Edmonton.





This game is destined to be a Classic. Even if you aren't a fan of either team, this game will be must-watch Hockey. The game marks the 20th anniversary of the original Heritage Classic between the Oilers and the Canadiens. It will be the 3rd time for both teams to appear in Heritage Classic Games.


During a recent media day, some of the Flames and Oilers players were given a sneak peak of the jersey designs and they all seemed really impressed and excited. Each player gave the jerseys a 10 out of 10, and gave praise to the fresh, old-school designs.

Evander Kane said he really likes the Centre of the Oilers jersey, and thinks they're awesome. Meanwhile Tanev was impressed by the stripes on the jersey.


"It seems to be a very fresh, different style than what they wear now" Said Chris Tanev.


Jacob Markstrom said the jersey scream "Classic".




Ticket prices for the game start as high as $175 a seat for the upper bowl and behind the goal. Ticket prices go as high as $1294 for the VIP and Club Seats. The capacity of CommonWealth stadiums is 60,081.
